- Automatic 1+1 link protection on the uplink and T1 / T3 tributaries, as well as redundant hot-swappable power supplies ensure maximum network uptime.
- Carrier class NEBS-3 compliant unit. All components are field replaceable and can be backed up.
- Management options include SNMP, Telnet or proprietary web-based management connected to an Ethernet management port or an ASCII terminal connected to a DB-9 control port.
- Operates over single mode, multimode and fiber-conserving single fiber (WDM).
- True plug and play units require minimal configuration upon installation and are simple to maintain.
- Maximum range of 50 miles.
- Compact 1U (for T3 extension) or 2U (for T1 extension) unit with low power consumption.
- Can transport 63 x E1 or 3 x T3 over STM-1 or 84 x T1 over STM-1 for international or multi-national use.
